The Xip3 jacket was conceived during a cold, spring day outing to New York’s, American Museum of Natural History.
While lugging her family’s coats under the herd of elephants in the Akeley Hall of African Mammals, the inventor, Carine Elen began to ponder a practical way for kids to carry their own coats.
The concept for Xip3 was born while Carine perspired her way through the extraordinary, 98 degree live, tropical butterfly exhibit in the museum’s Butterfly Conservatory.
